As the applications are received, confirmation

will be mailed to each applicant (team captain) that will contain the
official rules of the Chili Cookoff, three (3) admit tickets for the members

If advance tickets are purchased with the application, these will be in

the day of the event without an admit ticket unless they
pay the price of admission. Preferential
placements for teams (sponsors) will necessarily be cut off at the time
the packages are sent out. After this date
there will be no preferential placement.
RULES REGARDING APPLICATIONS:
1. All applications must be mailed to the above post office box
address.
2. Placement of team booths will be dependent upon the order in
which applications are received. Platinum sponsors, Billboard sponsors,
Gold sponsors and the previous year's winner will have booths assigned
to them beginning on the center aisle. All other teams will be assigned
booths from the center aisle outward in the order of receipt of
the application.
3. This year we will have two divisions for chili entries. There
will be a "GUEST" division and an "OILFIELD" division. Oilfield
Division is defined by Section I.A. of the rules, which states that
more than 50% of your income comes from oilfield related sources.
4. Due to demand, we can no longer entertain requests to place booths
together unless teams making the request send in their applications together
AND are willing to relinquish their position in the team placement pecking
order so that they can be accommodated. All assigned area destinations
will remain in force, not to be changed unless necessary to accommodate
OCASI.
5. We will allow teams to enter double booths but we cannot guarantee
the booths will be side by side. Logistics may require them to be
placed back to back. As always, such entries may cook out of the
same pot but must cook the same amount of chili as two teams would
cook.
